Christmas Banquet 2011

Big, big, huge, sigh of relief.

Banquet can be checked off my to do list...

Look at these two!

Aren't they adorable!

Ty was so excited about his first "date"

He opened her door

Told her she looked "amazing"

Gave her flowers

Made her laugh...

Look how color coordinated these two are...

He of course is a gentleman as well

He enjoyed getting all spiffed up for his girl

Its just so sweet to see my guys trying to impress the ladies

They will make fine husbands one day...

...Far, far away...

Our banquet room turned out really nice.  I loved the green satin on the tables along with the candle light

It truly is fun to see the kiddos all dressed up in their finest...

...on their best behavior

Laughing, talking, taking pictures...

...making memories of their high school days

A picture from outside.  The trees look like they have snow on them...but they don't.

This picture cracks me up...

They are leaning towards each other...

...but sitting very far apart...

hmmmm, I wonder what a "body language expert" would have to say about that?

We played games...

and handed out prizes...

The kids hung out and visited...

admiring each other's attire...

It went by so fast and in fact I think we needed more time...

It's so hard to judge.

Some banquets seem to drag on and you think "oh man this will never end"

This one flew by and I thought "shoot it seems too short"

I wish I could be a fly on the wall to hear what kids have to say

Was it worth it?

Both of my boys said they had fun and I'm pretty sure they would tell me if they didn't like it...

That's good enough for me :)
